Speaker Guidelines

Dear Speakers and Panelists at the 12th World Zoroastrian Congress 2022

On behalf of the Program Committee, we are extremely grateful for agreeing to speak at the upcoming 12th World Zoroastrian Congress 2022.

Here are some basic guidelines for the digital presentations you may choose to include as part of your talk.

  • All speakers need to use the WZC2022-Speaker-Template to create their slides.
  • The template can be dowloaded at the link below. This is a Microsoft Powerpoint file.
  • Please download and use the file for graphics and text styles.
  • All presentations need to be uploaded to our website no later than June 15, 2022.
  • All presentation slides shall be reviewed for layout and graphic consistency.
  • All presentations shall be run off Windows laptops that shall be hooked up to the AV systems at the Congress.
  • No personal laptops or devices may be used to make presentations.
  • If you have videos as part of your presentation, make sure that they are embedded into the powerpoint slide. Do not live link to a streaming service.
  • We recommend not using any transitions for slides. If you need to, onlybasic fade transitions are allowed.
  • Once your presentation is ready, rename the pptx file in this format “Firstname_Lastname_Title”.
  • If you do not need powerpoint slides, and have video clips ONLY, you will need to name them in this format “XX_Firstname_Lastname_Title”. The XX is a two digit sequential number that will help us pre-load the videos in the order you want them show.
  • You will need to upload the presentation on to the Congress Dropbox. A link to the same is below. Once you click on it, it will allow you to upload the file(s).
  • Once you have uploaded the file, do let your session moderator AND the Program Co-chairs know.
  • Once the files are uploaded, no revisions or edits will be allowed.
